pureJUSTICE:  The Response of the Church to the Porn/SexTrafficking Connection

Feautured Speaker:  Noel Bouché, Vice President of pureHOPE

Contrary to prevailing opinion, porn is neither a “private” issue nor a victimless activity.  It is a form of commercial sex and one way that women and children are trafficked for sex, and the church has a mandate to oppose it.  Noel will expose the nature of and connections between pornography, prostitution, sex trafficking and other forms of commercial sex and will investigate the scriptures to establish the role of justice in our pursuit of purity.

Following his presentation, Noel will be joined by a panel of experts in the area of prevention, restoration, and prosecution with respect to human trafficking including:

Andy Conner, King County Deputy and co-founder of The Genesis Project

Erin Murphy, Advocacy Manager, Seattle Against Slavery

Exhibits will be in place featuring local Church Ministries and Christian programs to allow you to network with those who specialize in Christian recovery.  If you would like to have a display table at this event or need additional information, contact Brenda Hyer at 206.686.3093 or email brenda@purehope.net

There is no fee to attend this event.

Optional lunch is provided for a fee of $5.
